What can we do while we are at Camp Kulaqua?
Camp Kulaqua not only offers a great place to meet with your group, worship in the great outdoors, do some planning for the future or some outreach ministry, but it's also a wonderful place to have fun in a Christian environment. Activities include basketball, soccer, softball, horses, swimming, mini-golf, go-carts, zoo, nature, canoeing, snorkeling, shuffleboard, volleyball, hiking, rodeo, tennis, boardwalk, hayride and bonfire, and a low elements course.
Which housing will work best for my group?
To help you make this decision, determine what type of group you will bring to camp. Are they families who will want to stay together as a family, or is it a youth group that will prefer a place to hang out? Usually, the younger crowd will be just as happy with one of the camper cabins or a mini-lodge while the adults will prefer a little upscale housing such as the family chalets. Look over the floor plans and decide which will meet your needs the best.

Which meeting facilities do I need?
The meeting room will depend on what your plans are for the time you are here.
**Will you be having meetings that would be appropriate for a chapel or a classroom?
**Will you have someone doing a lecture which would require tables to make notes at?
**How many will be coming?
These questions need to be answered before you can decide which meeting room best suits your group needs.
How do I make a reservation?
You are welcome to send an e-mail or call. We will be happy to send you an application blank and pricing information.
The application blank needs to be filled out as completely as you can - we realize many times it's a guess on your part as to how many people will be attending, but we do need some estimate in order to see if you can be accommodated for the dates you are requesting. We make every effort to process applications once a week and get back to you as soon as possible with an answer. Once a date has been agreed upon, you will need to submit a deposit which will be deducted from your final invoice.
Other things to consider:
Would it be easier to work on a per person cost?
What do we need to include in that cost?
**Housing preference
**Number of meals to be provided by Camp
**Meeting room/s available
**Activities - horseback riding, gymnasium recreation, go-cart rides, hayride & bonfire, etc.
These are all things that can be discussed as the reservations are made for your retreat.
What equipment is available from Camp Kulaqua?
