Saturday, July 2

  • 4:00-6:00pm Check in & Drop off Campers at Outback
  • 6:30pm Supper at the Outback
  • Load the Shuttle
  • Go to the barn and see the horses
  • Talk about our trip and rules / expectations / what to expect this week
  • Early bedtime for our early departure

Sunday, July 3

  • 4:00am Wake Up & Load into the Shuttle
  • 4:30am  On the Road to Virginia
  • 5:00pm Approximate arrival to cabin at Camp Blue Ridge
  • Explore the camp
  • Worship
  • We will not be able to contact parents this evening as we unload and settle in, but will send text from campers prior to arriving on the mountain

Monday, July 4

  • 7:00am Wake Up & Breakfast
  • 9:00am Go to barn to feed & tack up
  • 9:30am  Worship
  • 10:00am Horseback Ride
  • 12:30pm Go to Cabin for Lunch
  • Afternoon Activities
  • 6pm Supper at Café
  • Evening Campfire with Smores & hot chocolate
  • Worship
  • Fireworks at Camp Blue Ridge over the Lake

Tuesday, July 5

  • 7:30am Wake Up & Breakfast
  • 9:00am  Worship
  • 9:30am Trail Hike to Waterfall
  • 11:00am  Early Lunch
  • 12:00pm  Groom & Tack Horses
  • 1:00pm    Horseback Ride
  • 3:00pm   Return from Ride / Snack / Rest / Swim
  • 6:30pm   Supper
  • 8:00pm   Worship
  • Stargazing @ Main Field

Wednesday, July 6

  • 7:00am Wake Up & Breakfast
  • 9:00am Go to barn to feed & tack up
  • 9:30am  Worship

Friday, July 8

  • 7:00am Wake Up & Breakfast
  • 8:00am  Worship
  • Prep for Long hike
  • 8:45am 2.5 mi hike to Priest Rock
  • 1:30pm Late lunch / Rest
  • 3:00pm Go to barn to groom & tack up
  • 4:00pm Horseback Ride (sunset ride)
  • 7:30pm Return to the cabin for supper
  • Campfire Cooking + Smores + Fruit Pies over fire
  • Worship

Sabbath, July 9

  • 8:00am  Wake Up & Breakfast
  • 9:00am Worship
  • Pack up the cabin
  • Free time around camp
  • Hike
  • 12:00pm Lunch and Load Van
  • 1:00pm Leave Camp Blue Ridge
  • Stop for Supper on the Road
  • 7:00pm Arrive at overnight camp
  • Cohutta Youth Camp in GA will be our rest stop for the night, where we have reserved rooms

Sunday, July 10

  • 6:00am Wake up
  • 7:00am Leave Cohutta and start home
  • Breakfast stop on the way
  • Lunch stop on the way
  • 1:00-3:00pm Approximate arrival time at Camp Kulaqua
  • Parents, please stay tuned with your camper for an exact time as we enter Florida. We will have them call/text you with an exact time… it will be between 1 & 3pm.
